Casual and simple, fully lined, hooded jacket with simple to insert zipper and decorative flat piping that can be made for any season with or without interlining. Jacket length - 24"

1 2/3 yd. fabric (jacket middle front, upper back and sleeves)
3 1/3 yd. fabric (lining, hood and upper front)
1/2 yd. fabric (flat piping, lower jacket and back)

SINGLE FABRIC JACKET
2 2/3 yd. fabric
2 2/3 yd. lining

OPTIONAL
2 2/3 yd. thin cotton batting (interlining)


Suitable Fabrics

We used cotton for the frayed fat quarter jacket on the front cover. (Moda Fabrics-Seaside Rose.) Cotton twill was used for the front cover inset photo and eyelash fabric for the back inset photo. (Michael Miller Fabrics-Mimi.) Linen, corduroy, tweed, wool and other woven fabrics would work as well.
